David has worked for several consultancies during his career as an industry geologist. He is proficient in oil & gas exploration analyses and techniques, as well as low-carbon initiatives such as Carbon Capture & Storage (CCS).

David's specialisms lie in clastic sedimentology, petrophysics, and petrography.

 

David currently works for Merlin Energy Resources Ltd., based in Herefordshire. One of his main tasks in this role is to grow a client base in areas such as CCS, geothermal energy, gas and energy storage, and wind power.
