The Geoscience Support Network (GSN) is an initiative founded by David Whitworth in 2023. It aims to bring students, academics, and industry professionals in earth sciences together to share advice, resources, and experience with each other.

It is hoped that the GSN will help to signpost geoscientists to the appropriate resources to support their mental health, professional development, legal and financial concerns, and promote job satisfaction.

Throughout 2024, David has been working to secure charitable status for the GSN, and building a Board of Trustees to direct the future of the Charity.
